Ashwin is a partner in Growth Equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The Growth Equity business manages a global portfolio of equity investments in high-growth technology-enabled companies. He is a member of the Firmwide Strategic Investment Committee and the Asset & Wealth Management Private Growth Equity Investment Committee. Previously, Ashwin worked in Principal Strategic Investments, which led the firm’s strategic investments in financial technology and enterprise software. He joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in
2006, and was named managing director in 2017 and partner in 2024.

Ashwin serves on several boards on behalf of the firm, including Blue Sage, Deserve, iCapital and Pico. Ashwin earned a BSc in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006.
